Home Buyer System adds mobile phone access

The new mobile phone access to collecting payments by debit and credit cards is the latest development in the Home Buyer Systems card payment facility launched in October 2008. This facility enables Home Buyer System and HBSLite users – including mortgage advisers, IFAs and estate/lettings agents – to collect any payments due to them without the need to wait for cheques to be written, paid in and cleared. Payments can be for research/ administration fees charged,, rental and deposit payments, or any other sums due.

Home Buyer Systems managing director, Richard Angliss, explains: “Our new mobile phone access to the Home Buyer card payment facility is truly revolutionary, as it allows businesses to use their phones (which they have already paid for) to collect customer payments, instead of the payment terminals that one is used to seeing in retail outlets which can cost around £50 a month to rent. Our systems users already had access to the facility via their laptop computers, but the additional mobile phone access gives extra flexibility and choice.

“All transactions are made through a market-leading and totally secure payment gateway, and users have a full audit trail of all transactions for their own records. The new mobile phone facility is offered either as an integral part of Home Buyer System and HBSLite, using Home Buyer’s merchant account, or it can be purchased as a standalone, self hosted facility if the user already has their own merchant account”.
