HLPartnership recruits regional sales manager

Mortgage and protection network HLPartnership has hired Aneal Chohan (pictured) as its new regional sales manager.

With a career that began at the Royal Bank of Scotland in a customer service capacity, Chohan became a mortgage adviser during his time with Connells estate agents, where he focused in broking and customer service. He eventually moved into leadership roles that showcased his capacity to lead and grow teams.

In 2020, Chohan assumed the position of area director for Just Mortgages Self Employed, where he played a pivotal role in aiding brokers to transition to self-employment and supporting firm expansion initiatives.

In his role at HLPartnership, Chohan will be responsible for driving network growth by focusing on recruitment and internal sales enhancement. His responsibilities include working closely with member firms to boost their market presence, offering them strategic advice and support drawing from his wide-ranging experience in the industry. He also aims to draw top talent to the network.

“Aneal Chohan brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of leadership and growth within the mortgage industry,” said Tom Barnett, sales and recruitment Director at HLPartnership. “We look forward to his contribution to our network’s development and the enhanced support he will provide to our member firms.”

Just last month, HLPartnership appointed Adam Smith to the newly created role of operations director.
