Heritable appoints East Anglia BDM

Robert’s remit in this newly created role will be to promote Heritable Bank’s bespoke property finance offerings and to develop key introducer relationships across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. He is familiar with this region having previously covered East Anglia in the same role for The Mortgage Times Group. He spent part of his career at The One Account covering the South West of England.

Heritable Bank is actively recruiting to boost its existing team of regional business development managers, and is looking to build its profile in London, the South West and the North of England over the coming months. The business will also be adding to its underwriting team, as a result of increasing demand for its flexible underwriting expertise.

Colin Stevens, residential lending director of Heritable Bank, commented: “By welcoming experienced professionals like Robert, who has exceptional regional contacts and knowledge of our markets, we’re aiming to build on robust, trusted foundations. We have built up a base of strong, long-standing introducer relationships and are keen to replicate this success in core regions across the country. Many brokers have grown vexed by the box-ticking mentality of larger lenders leading to a growing appetite for our combination of underwriting expertise, client focus and genuine flexibility.”
