The deal means that Positive Solutions' network of 1,674 advisers will be able to provide Halifax's market leading insurance products.
Members will now have access to Halifax Home Buildings and Contents Insurance and Accident Sickness and Unemployment (ASU) Cover.
Head of mortgage intermediaries at Halifax General Insurance, Jon Craven, said: "We have invested heavily in the intermediary channel over the last couple of years and it is now starting to bear fruit.
