GMAC-RFC gains employment recognition

Featured for the second year running, GMAC-RFC climbs up the table from 61st to 10th out of the 100 companies selected. This announcement is hot on the heels of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For award, which GMAC-RFC received earlier this year.

‘Britain’s Top Employers 2007’ is sponsored by The Guardian newspaper and launched in September last year. The companies are selected by the Corporate Research Foundation and the selection was made using the following criteria:

- Pay & Benefits

- Promotion & Development

- Training

- Culture & Style

- Innovation

- Diversity

- Social Responsibility

- Compliance

- Environment

In particular, GMAC-RFC excelled in the categories of innovation, culture and style, environment and training.

Chris Kujawa, human resources director of GMAC-RFC, commented: “We are delighted to be recognised as one of Britain’s Top Employers as it provides an external benchmark that recognises our efforts of best practice in HR to create a culture where employees can maximise their potential.

“We are very proud of our achievement to make it on to two prestigious lists such as the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For list and now the Top 10 Employer in the UK.”
