GHL enhances offering

The promotion will offer brokers an enhanced procuration fee and the chance to win a European break for two.

The online DIP facility, which was unveiled via the GHL Group website late last year, has been very well received by both network members and Directly Authorised brokers alike. There has been a rapid increase in the number of DIPs submitted since the launch and currently the placements team in Maidstone process over 1,500 each month.

Starting on 1 June, the promotion runs until the end of the month and offers brokers an additional £50 procuration fee on top of the normal amount payable, for each mortgage application that completes, where the online DIP facility was utilised.

Additionally anyone who submits an online DIP between the qualifying dates also gains entry into a prize draw for the chance to win a European break for two. The draw for this prize will be held the first week in July.

By using the GHL Group online DIP, brokers can improve their earnings and be in with a chance of winning the European break, but they can save time when trying to place mortgage cases. Completing the DIP just once, allows the broker to have their client’s requirements matched against all 15 lenders on the GHL Group packaged panel. The DIP response is provided within four hours, detailing the best three options available and also provides the ability to convert the DIP information into a full application.

John Smith, sales & marketing director at GHL, said: “This latest promotion is designed to encourage those brokers who have not yet realised how valuable an asset our online DIP can be to their business to put the facility to the test. With the advances in technology provided by the lenders, brokers can submit their DIPs by visiting each website individually, but our DIP decision does the legwork for them giving 15 decisions for one data entry.

"Analysis of our users has found that a very high percentage of brokers, who submitted their first DIP to us, have gone on to use the facility frequently. For this reason, we hope the chance of an enhanced procuration fee and the opportunity to win a European break will generate a even greater number of new users of this service.”
