Other financial services individuals making the honours list included Andrew Sentance, former Monetary Policy Committee member, and Helena Morrissey, chief executive of Newton Investment Management.
Sentance was awarded a CBE for services to the economy and Morrissey was awarded a CBE for services to UK business.
