Mortgage complaints between April and June totalled 3,007, up on the 2,941 during the same period last year.
However FOS saw the overall number of complaints drop by 46% year-on-year as the number of complaints relating to PPI dropped by 57%.
From a total of 56,869 complaints relating to PPI only 61% were upheld, down from 78% in 2013.
