FOREX demand from brokers

The new service was launched earlier this month at the MBE London show and since Expo Archangel has seen a 40% uplift in the numbers visiting the AI website.

At Expo AI offered delegates a ‘credit card’ which if redeemed before 31 January 2010 would deliver savings of £350 on total training costs. AI also held a prize draw and received 630 individual entries to win a free training course worth over £4,800. The names and details of the three lucky winners can be found by typing ‘Prize Draw Winners’ into the search box on the AI website at: www.aifx.co.uk.

AI offers advisers the only subscription-based foreign exchanging training programme in the UK allowing them to learn about Foreign Exchange Trading and become a successful currency trader. The course lasts 12 months and has been designed to fit in with the adviser’s ongoing financial services business. Advisers attend an initial one-day training course followed by two-hour daily morning webinars which ensure the rest of the day can be spent dealing with clients.

Mark Bowler, managing director of Archangel Intermediaries, commented: “Looking at the response we received from delegates at MBE London there is a clear demand from intermediaries to learn more about the FOREX market and the AI proposition was received well by the vast majority of brokers we spoke to. This is a time when many advisers are actively looking to diversify, and given the discount incentives we were able to offer at launch we already have over 70 individuals signed up to complete our initial seminars. We expect many more Expo attendees to take advantage of the AI ‘credit card’ they received which will provide them with savings of £350 on our regular course fees. Also, as a result of Expo, we are now in discussions with a number of large networks about rolling out the proposition to their members to ensure the widest number of advisers benefit from this potential new income stream. Finally, all those who entered our prize draw at Expo should visit the AI website to see if they’re one of the lucky three winners of a free training course.”
