Fluent Money appoints new CEO

Specialist lending distributor Fluent Money has announced the appointment of Tim Wheeldon (pictured) as its new chief executive.

Wheeldon steps into the role with significant experience and expertise, having played a pivotal role in establishing Fluent Money alongside Kevin Hindley, Paul Ford, and Simon Moore in 2008.

The company believes that Wheeldon’s background and vision positions him well to lead the business going forward.

“I am delighted to assume the role of CEO at Fluent Money,” Wheeldon said on his appointment. “Fluent’s journey has been remarkable and one that I am excited to continue.

“With the support of our talented team, we will continue to drive innovation within the mortgage broker market for our customers and partners.”

Fluent Money became part of Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) in 2022, aligning with MAB’s broader distribution strategy. This acquisition also enhances MAB’s local and regional presence in the financial services sector.

“I would like to congratulate Tim as he takes on his new role as CEO at Fluent,” Peter Brodnicki, chief executive at Mortgage Advice Bureau, stated. “Tim’s deep-rooted understanding of Fluent’s journey, coupled with his strategic foresight, puts him in the ideal position to guide us into Fluent’s next phase of growth, and we look forward to a productive and innovative future under his leadership.”
