Find out who's taking on new roles at Marsden Building Society, MT Finance, ONP Solicitors, and TMA Club

Several firms across the UK’s property finance industry have announced new appointments and team expansions as part of broader growth strategies.
Marsden Building Society has launched a new distribution team to work alongside its lending department. The team is led by product manager Katie Broome (pictured far left), who has 14 years of financial services experience, including a decade at Marsden. The new function includes three business development advisors — two new hires and one internal promotion — tasked with supporting intermediaries through virtual and in-person services.
“This year, we’ve taken a significant step forward in our plans to expand our services with the establishment of our new distribution team,” Broome said. “Through the appointment of three new Business Development Advisors, we can offer our intermediary partners a key point of contact.”
Similarly, specialist lender MT Finance has appointed Darren Clarke (pictured second from left) to lead its newly created commercial division. Clarke, who brings more than 35 years of banking and financial services experience, will focus on building the division’s market presence, expanding its product offering, and strengthening relationships with brokers and clients.
“I’m excited to join MT Finance at such a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution,” Clarke said. “There’s significant opportunity to bring MT Finance’s reputation for speed, flexibility, effortless service and client-focused solutions to commercial property finance.”
Meanwhile, ONP Solicitors, part of the Movera Group, has appointed Amy Colton (pictured second from right) as senior operations manager for its new Cardiff office. Colton, a qualified solicitor since 2010, has held senior positions at Premier Property Lawyers and Countrywide. She is focusing on recruiting experienced conveyancers to establish a high-performing team.
“I’m here to build a strong, collaborative, happy team who love coming to work and who deliver incredible service as a result,” Colton said.
TMA Club has brought on Tim Sorrell (pictured far right) as key account manager. Sorrell previously held a role at Perenna Bank, where he developed distribution channels and managed key distributor relationships. He also has experience running his own mortgage brokerage.
“I am thrilled to have this opportunity in a company and group that is consistently setting the standard in intermediary business,” Sorrell said. “I am really looking forward to making my past experience count, as we continue TMA’s development.”
