Finance4Women move to M2 Financial

Finance4Women, previously part of the Millfield Partnership, has become a subsidiary of M2 Financial Limited.

The exclusively female team comprises Fiona Sharp, Karen Ritchie, Toni Chalmers and Catherine Haines, who have worked together since 2000 when they met at Fiona Price & Partners. Finance4Women has created a niche market for itself by specifically targeting the financial needs of women.

Of the move to M2, Karen Ritchie, one of four equal partners says : “Unanimously we felt the time was right to move to a more like-minded, forward thinking young company. M2 was an obvious choice. We have watched its progress unfold in the last nine months and are very pleased to be working with Mark Howard and his team.”

Karen continues: “Our goals remain the same; that is, to provide the highest quality financial advice, with no jargon and no hard sell, to women of all ages and from all walks of life. There are times, for instance during difficult life stages, like after a divorce or bereavement, when many women are more comfortable talking to another woman about their financial needs. One of the priorities of F4W is that we cultivate long term relationships with our clients and are there to offer support during difficult times.”

Mark Howard, managing director and founder of M2 Financial says : “Finance4Women is a trusted and highly regarded brand and a very welcome addition to our team. Only five per cent of IFAs in Britain are female and we have just acquired four of the most talented individuals in the business, which is fantastic for M2’s growth and development.”
