Final touches for MBE 2007

Held this week at Earl’s Court 2, the London show will include over 230 exhibitors, five seminar theatres in four special zones plus the International Property Investment Show 2007.

This year’s London show has been split into four zones: Residential Mortgages, Secured Lending, Commercial Property Finance and Equity Release. All zones will have dedicated seminar theatres organised by industry trade bodies and will also contain key industry exhibitors, plus a range of seminars from industry experts delivering information and advice on how to enter these potentially lucrative markets.

The five seminar theatres available at Mortgage Business Expo London include:

  • The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) Seminar Theatre.
  • The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) Seminar Theatre.
  • The Equity Release Seminar Theatre, sponsored by Key Retirement Solutions and organised by the Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA).
  • The Commercial Property Finance Seminar Theatre, sponsored by Commercial First, supported by the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB).
  • The Secured Lending Seminar Theatre, sponsored by Brilliant Loans and organised by the Association of Finance Brokers.
In addition to all the exhibitor and seminar information on offer to delegates are added attractions including:

  • A Welcome Area, sponsored by 5D Finance.
  • A Central Cafe, sponsored by Nationwide Building Society, The Mortgage Works and UCB Home Loans.
  • The Mortgages plc Cyber Cafe.
  • The Commercial First Commercial Bar.
  • The Expo Executive Lounge.
Pre-registration visitor numbers are already outstripping last year’s figures proving that demand for the Show is at an all-time high. Entry to the show is free to those delegates who register on www.mortgagebusinessexpo.co.uk. Those delegates who do not pre-register will have to pay a £10 entry fee on the door with all proceeds going to local charities.

Daniel Nwaokolo, Mortgage Business Expo London show director, commented: “This week’s Mortgage Business Expo London is gearing up to be one of the most interesting and informative shows in recent memory. With the current market conditions as they are, we are hoping many mortgage intermediaries and IFAs will make the trip to Earl’s Court 2 to gain the very latest industry news and arm themselves with enough information to ensure ongoing profitable businesses.

“Our recent research has already revealed that delegates will be attending Expo to make contact with new lender and product provider contacts, and with over 230 exhibitors at this year’s show they will certainly have plenty to choose from. Having split the show into four zones navigation should now be easier plus our delegates can also maximise their time by booking meetings prior to the Show via our Online Appointment Making system.

“Once again we have a rich seam of informative seminars organised by the top industry trade bodies and delivered by experts in their field. Delegates will also have the chance to hear the latest news from our regulator, the FSA.

“Whether you’re looking for specific sector information, looking for new contacts, wanting to hear how to increase business levels or network and catch up with old friends and colleagues, Mortgage Business Expo London offers something for every mortgage intermediary and IFA. We look forward to bringing the industry together on 14 and 15 of November.”
