EXCLUSIVE: MAB drops Trigold for CDS

Peter Brodnicki, chief executive of MAB, confirmed that the national broker and network had made a decision to move all of its mortgage brokers and network members across to The Core.

The CDS software will be fully integrated with MAB’s existing MIDAS customer relationship management system.

Mortgage Introducer first revealed that MAB were in final discussions with CDS at the beginning of August.

CDS Group was launched last year by Peter Heigho, one of the original designers of the Trigold mortgage sourcing system and ‘The Key’ CRM system now owned by Mortgage Brain.

Brodnicki said: “It is well known that MAB is continually looking for ways in which to move the company forward and take a lead in the industry as a whole.

“We looked carefully at all mortgage sourcing solutions on the market before deciding on The Core.

“CDS Group have developed a product capable of producing not only highly accurate sourcing and functionality, but in building a genuine on-line solution providing both B2B and B2B2C solutions.

Brodnicki said that selecting The Core sourcing software enabled their advisers and network members to spend more time on advising and less time on administration through improved sourcing and integration with established MAB software.

But he added: “Although the decision has been made, transfer timescales are still to be agreed.”

Ian Merriman, sales director for CDS Group, said: “The management team at CDS are naturally delighted that MAB has chosen our new mortgage sourcing software.

“MAB has an excellent reputation in the industry for innovative forward-thinking solutions.”

Merriman said both companies shared a vision where advisers need only key data once and where all parties involved in the mortgage chain benefited from using state of the art technology.

He added: “Our mortgage sourcing software is the first in a range of complementary software that CDS Group is launching this year and next.

“We look forward to working with our industry colleagues closely in the coming weeks and months and producing bespoke sourcing solutions for companies large and small.”
