Enterprise Group launches will-writing service

Designed to add further value for intermediaries that use Enterprise’s packaging service, the company provides a range of will-writing services, ranging from the more straight-forward wills, through ‘Enduring Powers of Attorney’ and ‘Living Wills’ to more complex arrangements, where the client’s need is to maximise inheritance tax efficiency.

Enterprise Wills was launched on 31 October 2005 and has already enjoyed an excellent response from Enterprise’s introducers.

Michael Clapper, CEO at Enterprise Group, said: “Our service is free of charge to brokers – who do not need to be licenced. Most other will providers necessitate either licensing for brokers or a significant cost to buy an agency. In keeping with Enterprise’s philosophy of offering intermediaries added value services, together with ease of use and peace of mind, introducers just pass their clients’ details to Enterprise Wills and we do the rest. So clients gain a much-needed service, which further cements their relationship with their broker, who generates a further income stream, for doing no work whatsoever.”

Brian Meehan, managing director at Enterprise Wills, said: "It is an unfortunate fact that nearly 70 per cent of consumers have either an out-of-date will, or even worse, no will at all. The professional mortgage intermediary is in a prime position to advise their clients on this need. Understandably, too many brokers see this area as a lot of hassle for little reward, hence unwittingly doing both the broker and their clients a dis-service.

"Enterprise Wills changes all that: now our introducers can help their clients simply and profitably by letting us take care of it. We work with clients to make sure their needs are fully met - including the most complex Inheritance Tax planning - and keep the brokers fully informed along the way.”
