Duncan Bannatyne to front Scot Prov's events

"The Next Level" tour is visiting four UK cities in November and December, and will be an opportunity for advisers to take part in interactive sessions and hear ideas to help generate new growth in protection sales.

Duncan will tell his journey from a sole trader of ‘Duncan’s Super Ices’ to Head of the Bannatyne Group, offering IFAs advice on how they can drive their business forward.

As part of the campaign, Scottish Provident is also offering four prizes of £5,000 to any IFA who enters the prize draw, with one lucky winner also getting the once in a lifetime opportunity of a private dinner with Duncan at a top London restaurant.

Points that Duncan will cover on the tour include:

• How to market your business

• Why relationships are so important

• How to spot a good deal

• Why profit is everything

Roger Edwards, proposition director, Scottish Provident, said: “We are thrilled to have Duncan on board for the latest initiative we are launching as part of asserting Scottish Provident’s commitment to the protection market on the eve of our 175th year.

"Duncan’s tour promises to be informative, entertaining, and hugely rewarding, and each evening promises to be invaluable to IFAs wanting to take their own businesses to ‘The Next Level’.”

Ahead of the campaign Duncan Bannatyne offered the following advice: “Stay focused, work hard and grab the opportunities when they come along. Join me and I’ll help you take your business to the next level.”

The tour will be visiting London on Monday 28th November, Birmingham on Tuesday 29th November, Manchester on Thursday 1st December and Edinburgh on Tuesday 6th December, with each evening taking place in a prestigious venue in each city. All guests who attend the tour will not only receive the entrepreneurial insights offered by Duncan, but will also receive a copy of his latest business best-seller. They will also have the opportunity to win an iPad2 on the night.
