David Johnson resigns from igroup

His resignation took effect from 1 October 2002.

Johnson has been with igroup since its inception and played a leading role in the management buy out of Ocwen UK from Ocwen Financial Corp US in 1999. Ocwen UK was rebranded igroup in April 2000, and subsequently acquired by GE in June 2001. Since then he worked to ensure the smooth integration of the sales and marketing functions, and now wishes to pursue his business interests elsewhere. These will not conflict with those of igroup and he is being retained as a consultant adviser.

Colin Sanders, igroup’s CEO, said: “David Johnson has made an outstanding contribution to igroup, and played a pivotal role in developing and growing the business leading to its acquisition by GE in June 2001. This is David’s strength, and his entrepreneurial skill and business acumen are well known and much admired. Both have been put to good use for the betterment of our business which has thrived since the acquisition.”
