Contact Centre Group appoints non-executive director

55 year old George Brooksbank to its board brings with him more than 35 years of business experience including spells with a division of BZW overseeing high profile privatisation issues including British Telecom and Enterprise Oil.

Contact Centre Group, which was established less than 12 months ago specialises in the provision of financial services solutions to businesses that want to sell financial services to their customer bases but lack the skills or experience to do so.

The company already employs more than 200 people and is on target to turnover £35M in its first financial year on an annualised basis. It already provides a range of financial services products including mortgage and motor products as well as personal loans and general insurance.

A Chartered Accountant by background, George Brooksbank joins Altrincham based Contact Centre Group at a time when it is undergoing considerable expansion. The company already employs more than 200 people in a 30,000sq ft state-of-the-art call centre and headquarters.

During his business career, George Brooksbank has occupied a range of senior executive and non executive rolls including stints as Group Financial Controller for Debenhams, as well as working for organisations including airline services group Watermark plc, Ampton Investments and accountancy firm Binder Hamlyn.

According to Contact Centre Group Chief Executive Richard Barlow, “George brings a wealth of business experience to the board across a wide range of sectors. His insight and considerable financial expertise will play a pivotal role in our future growth plans.
