Complete adds to franchise

This addition will be Complete’s eighth franchised partner. Abbey Mortgages Limited has registered a new limited company and will trade under the name of Complete Mortgage Packaging Limited which will become its recognised packaging arm.

Abbey Mortgage is based in Bexleyheath, Kent (mortgage processing and administration) and Stokesley, North Yorkshire (sales and marketing). The brokerage has national direct-to-consumer coverage via yellow pages, internet sites, its own database and bought in leads. Initially, Complete Mortgage Packaging will package cases for Abbey Mortgages, with packaging for other broker firms being phased in over the medium term.

Abbey Mortgages director John Evans explained why setting up the packaging venture as a Complete franchise was his best option: "We decided to franchise as we wanted more control of our own destiny, and we are always looking to improve on current service levels and to add value to our business. We feel that a franchise will fulfil those needs. We were already aware of Complete as we had used them to package some of our cases. We chose them because we are impressed with their vision for the future. They are innovative and constantly looking for ways to improve their business. We feel they will be invaluable helping us to develop our business in the coming years. The directors are greatly looking forward to the challenges ahead, prepared for a lot of hard work and looking for substantial growth."

Tony Salentino, director of parent franchise firm Complete, said: “The packager/distributor sector is in very good health with a number of successful mortgage broker firms wanting to expand into packaging. Becoming a franchise of well established brand and business model means that they can be up and running on day one. We welcome Complete Mortgage Packaging to the ‘Complete’ family of franchises and look forward to a mutually beneficial and prosperous partnership in the years to come.”
