Clive, who took up his role on 9 January 2006, was previously Chief Operating Officer of John Charcol Ltd, where he played an instrumental role in the divestment of Charcol from the Bradford & Bingley Group.
Clive will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer service standards and for liaising with all relevant functions within Abbey. Clive reports to Ricky Okey, Managing Director of Abbey for Intermediaries.

Clive previously worked for Charcol and Bradford & Bingley, from 1997 to 2006. In that time, he has fulfilled a variety of roles and most recently was responsible for leading and implementing the strategy across all operations at John Charcol. Earlier in his career, Clive was employed in sales development at Yorkshire Building Society and as an Independent Financial Adviser for a number of organisations.
