Second charge mortgages are increasing in popularity and recognised as an alternative to remortgaging by brokers and clients alike.
Rankin is joining Shawbrook as head of networks, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the financial services sector.
Her main focus is to deepen and build upon Shawbrook’s existing relations with key industry networks and members.
Prior to Shawbrook, she was a national account manager at Precise Mortgages, where she focused on networks and providing training and support to the member base.
Paula Purdy is taking a lead role as head of sales North and will be crucial in expanding Shawbrook’s stakes in the north of Britain.
Shawbrook is hoping that Paula’s experience will increase its presence in the region’s market share.
Paula brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as senior relationship manager within Shawbrook’s commercial division, where she successfully developed and built a strongly performing region.
