CII launches MBA training

The course has been designed to give experienced insurance or financial services professionals an overview of the key components of a world-class MBA, at a fraction of the usual cost in time and money.

Designed for professionals who have always wanted to do an MBA but never had the time, the one-day course aims to broaden business horizons and provide an understanding of what it takes to be a truly effective business leader.

Tamsin Mills CII director of training said, “This course is not for the faint hearted! We promise an intense and exhausting day and intend that delegates will discover previously unknown skills and aptitudes. But the rewards will make it all worthwhile as we will inspire the delegates and provide them with the tools and attitudes to perform much more effectively when they return to their workplace.”

The one day programme will specifically cover:

-Strategy & Analysis

-Marketing and Implementation

-Differentiation and Branding

-Business Development and Account Management

-Leadership and Influence

-Cash Flow, Financial Reporting and Analysis

-Operations Management

-Change Management and Mergers.

“We intend to challenge delegates intellectually as well as strengthening general management skills” said Tamsin Mills. “The whole day is unique in that it is specifically related to the financial services and insurance industries.”

The course will be held at the Lloyd’s Training Centre in London on June 2. The cost is £950 for CII members (£1100 for non-members).
