Cheshire appoints IT and strategic change director

He will be responsible for the Society’s IT infrastructure as well as managing business change programmes.

Daryl, 41, joins the Cheshire from Deloitte, where he was a Principal within the technology integration team of the firm’s consulting division. A retail financial services specialist, Daryl previously worked as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers and prior to that was Head of Delivery Channel Development for Barclays Bank.

During the second half of 2005, Cheshire Building Society was a client of Daryl’s whilst at Deloitte and he provided consultancy advice during a number of important strategic assignments.

Within his new role Daryl will focus on the Cheshire’s IT infrastructure, ensuring it is aligned to the Society’s operating model and delivering benefit to members.

Commenting on his appointment, Daryl said: “IT’s role within business has changed dramatically over the years and is now recognised as a major strategic driver for a successful business. I will be charged with ensuring the Cheshire’s IT infrastructure enables the business to operate effectively in order to achieve its objectives”
