CAL increases users

Looking at figures for Quarter 1 2008 as compared to a year ago, CAL has seen a 26% increase in instructions from intermediaries coupled with a widening of its overall distribution through a 36% increase in users of its system.

Numerous improvements and service upgrades have been implemented and overseen by a new management team at CAL which was put in place following a management buy-out in January 2008

Harpal Singh, managing director of CAL, commented: “Brokers are increasingly realising the importance of keeping control of the mortgage transaction cycle coupled with the necessity of working with a conveyancing distributor that delivers in terms of online technology and service.

“Now, more than ever, brokers also want to boost their income. We are now able to pay brokers weekly after completion by BACS payment meaning the funds are with them in as short a time frame as possible. CAL will continue to work with our solicitor panel partners and our end users to ensure they have access to the best online conveyancer platform available.”
