CAL enhances quotation system

The enhanced system will now be used as a platform for a series of new products including a new remortgage deal plus changes to the purchase conveyancing product, both scheduled to launch in the next week.

As part of the enhancement the system will also deliver a much more broker-friendly interface and knowledgeable design in order to provide a quicker and cleaner user experience.

Each individual piece of data that the system needs to process and progress the quote engine has now been analysed and investigated to ensure irrelevant questions do not need answering and that the whole inputting process can be speeded up.

Conveyancing Alliance now believe the upgraded system provides a simpler and more rounded experience for the user plus it will deliver much more accurate quotations for the client. For example, if the system knows the client is a cash buyer it will automatically not include ‘dealing with the lender’ fees in its quotation because it is not required; also if the system is told the application is a joint one, it will automatically include the two identification fees in the end quote.

Harpal Singh, managing director of Conveyancing Alliance Ltd, commented: “Our new and enhanced quotation system is the culmination of a project which has drilled down into all aspects of the data we collect allowing us to develop an offering which will be the launch pad to some unique and exciting products.

“We expect to announce details of these in the coming days and brokers using the system will immediately benefit from a much quicker, simpler and transparent system.

“This whole process has allowed Conveyancing Alliance to streamline our system so brokers only receive requests for relevant information and at the same time we provide a much more accurate and transparent quotation for the client.”
