CAL develops bespoke system for advisers

Previously bespoke solutions were only offered to larger practices but recent amendments to the Conveyancing Alliance proposition means that all firms who wish to increase their conveyancing business can now take advantage of a tailored system specific to their needs.

Bespoke solutions allows the firm to put in place its own unique pricing structure plus they can also chose to work with a limited panel of solicitor firms rather than the full 11 panel members. Firms that opt for the bespoke solution can also benefit from their own dedicated resources at both Conveyancing Alliance and the solicitor firms themselves.

Conveyancing Alliance recently created a bespoke proposition for national mortgage advisers, Mortgage Options. The Grantham-based firm came to Conveyancing Alliance looking for a tailored solution that would be more effective for its business and allow it to increase the volume of conveyancing recommendations it provides to clients.

The new solution gives Mortgage Options a focused solicitor panel and a more competitive company-specific pricing structure for exclusive use by its advisers, as well as better commercial terms.

Harpal Singh, managing director of Conveyancing Alliance Ltd, commented: “In this day and age firms should not have to work with vanilla conveyancing solutions which do not work specifically for that firm, especially when we can deliver a bespoke system at no extra cost.

“Increasingly, firms are looking for a tailored package which allows their advisers to generate additional revenue through conveyancing recommendations and to benefit from enhanced terms and/or a more focused panel. This is no longer the preserve of the large companies but all sizes of firm can now benefit from this.”

Rob Everett, managing director of Mortgage Options, said: “We have tried various conveyancing offerings over the years but always felt we needed something special. We now have an offering that gives us the solicitors we want, at a price we can sell, and at commission levels that work for our advisers. It’s early days but we have already seen an increase in our conveyancing business levels.”
