The move followed a survey of 200 mortgage intermediaries which revealed brokers wanted help with PR and marketing activities. Respondents said well designed product literature, advice on how and where to advertise, and how to manage public relations would be helpful.

Commenting on the development Jeff Knight, head of marketing at GMAC-RFC, said: ‘We want to support intermediaries and help them expand their business wherever we can. Our marketing toolbox is just one way in which we deliver this. It will be continually reviewed and updated.”

Knight went on to say that the site would also include information on database management and regulation, as well as industry news and an event calendar.
