borro and Seddons join ASTL

borro is a personal asset lender offering loans of up to £1m secured against valuable assets and Seddons is a central London law firm specialising in property, disputes and corporate law.

Adrian Bloomfield, outgoing chief executive of the ASTL, said: “We would like to welcome our new associate members.

“Each has something different to add to the trade body and I believe that not only will each of the new members benefit by being a part of the ASTL but the trade body will also be stronger as a result.”

Claire Gates, managing director at borro, said: “We are delighted to become an associate member of the ASTL and this is further endorsement of the role that borro plays in providing an alternative loans solution.

“We are continually looking at new partnerships and the benefit the ASTL will bring to our business will be invaluable. We very much look forward to working with them.”

Adam Miller, partner at Seddons, said: “Our credibility within the marketplace coupled with our experience and specialist knowledge of advising clients in all matters relating to short term lending secured our membership of ASTL.

“As a business with close associations within the financial markets we are constantly seeking to work with the most suitable providers of short term finance.

“ASTL’s commitment to best practice reflects our values as a law firm and we are proud to have been recognised by this well respected trade body.”
