BIA launches exclusive partnership with international financial services coach

PracticeBuilder Programme is a bespoke one year coaching programme to help BIA members boost income, build new clients and further develop their businesses by improving practice management. It includes a tool kit with

template systems, approach letters and documents to use in administration, marketing and client management.

There will be six modules each lasting four hours including:

* Prospecting

* Personal marketing and promotion

* Creative selling

* Activity, staff and office management

Martin Banbury, Executive Chairman of Berkeley Independent Advisers Ltd said, "We have always provided development support and advice to our members but we want to expand this further by partnering with a professional business coach. The IFA industry is undergoing challenging changes so it is

more important than ever to provide our members with as much knowledge and expertise at their fingertips to ensure they can continue to manage their businesses successfully in the future."

Anthony Morris is the international authority on practice management and client building in the financial services sector and has coached advisers and consultants throughout the world to achieve higher production levels and build more successful businesses. He currently works in three of South Africa's top four Life Assurance companies and all four of the top banks.

The PracticeBuilder Programme is in addition to a recently launched pilot mentoring programme currently being provided by four of BIA's top IFAs. Ten advisers have already attended the first course at which successful fellow members provide insight on how they manage their own business and guidance

and tips on how to achieve similar success.

Martin Banbury said, "The great advantage of our mentoring programme is that members learn from other advisers who have already experienced first hand both the pitfalls and opportunities that are facing their colleagues. It is always easier to learn and be inspired by the success of others."
