BDS introduces 'The Mortgage Helper'

This service was initially launched around M-Day, primarily for brokers who failed to qualify before the deadline, and therefore were unable to give mortgage advice. Since then enquiry levels have been steadily increasing and the focus has shifted more into non-conforming areas where there is potential but perhaps not the confidence or experience to deal. BDS made the decision to revamp this area and has spent the last 6 months building up a team of experienced and qualified advisers and promoting the service to existing Network members with a very warm reception.

Brokers (individuals or organisations) who are not authorised to advise or find that the leads are outside of their area of expertise can simply pass over details of the lead and the team will deal with every aspect of the mortgage from enquiry to completion. Brokers who use the service are paid a percentage of commission upon completion depending on client circumstances.

The Mortgage Helper also provide a full mortgage desk service to many specialist organisations such as trade unions with a membership database.

Bob Hope, head of sales and network commented: “Business is all about taking advantage of opportunities we are no exception. This service means that brokers who do not want to deal with a lead needn’t lose out. In fact they can still earn a tidy sum and be safe in the knowledge that their client (or whoever the lead may be) is receiving a first class service from a respected source.”
