Bankhall extends Defaqto partnership

All Bankhall member firms receive one licence as part of their membership for either the Aequos Online programme or the recently launched Aequos Engage, giving them real time access to products from a range of product providers. Members can purchase additional licences from a menu of supplementary products and services provided by Bankhall.

David Scott, member service and IT director at Bankhall, commented: "These new developments in partnership with Defaqto will undoubtedly bring more value to the everyday business of our members, and with their needs at the forefront of every provider partnership we initiate, our commitment to providing quality service is further evidenced by the fact that due to our size and the number of members we have, we have negotiated highly preferential rates with Defaqto."

Bankhall’s Client Management system, which integrates with Aequos Online, will be further developed to integrate with Aequos Engage.

Defaqto currently provide free of charge training on Aequos Online to Bankhall members through training roadshows, telephone talk-throughs and courses held at Defaqto’s offices and plans are in place to extend this service to cover Aequos Engage.

Commenting on the contract, Neil Morgan, sales and marketing director at Defaqto, said, "We are delighted that Bankhall has chosen to further strengthen its links with us by this new agreement. We are sure that with either of our two products, Aequos Online and Aequos Engage, advisers are able to provide first class product selection to their clients, while being fully compliant at the same time."
