Bank of Butterfield recruits adviser team

The new appointments are:

Paul Turtle - Managing Director. Paul was previously Managing Director at Cater Allen joining Bank of Butterfield in July 2002. Paul has over 35 years experience of international and private banking and will be in charge of all of the Bank's operations in the UK.

Antonia Blake, who joined in January 2003, will head up marketing for the Bank. Antonia was at Cater Allen for almost seven years rising to Head of Marketing Communications where her remit included the brand and proposition development for the professional adviser and direct sectors.

Andrew Chalmers who also joined in January 2003, will head up the intermediary development for Bank of Butterfield. At Cater Allen, Andrew was Southern Regional Sales Manager. Prior to working at Cater Allen, Andrew held national account manager and broker consultant positions with major insurance companies such as Standard Life, AXA and NPI.

Together the team will develop exclusive and competitive full private banking and wealth management services for high net worth clients and professional advisers. Bank of Butterfield will offer consistently competitive rates of interest, no hidden charges and exemplary levels of personal service both to the adviser and the client at a time when most banks are moving towards a call centre environment.

The Bank will work in partnership, rather than in competition, with the professional adviser to add value to their client relationships by delivering services that the adviser does not provide.

Paul Turtle, Managing Director at Bank of Butterfield, said:

"Having worked with Antonia and Andrew before I have every confidence in their abilities to help Bank of Butterfield position itself as a leading provider of full private banking and wealth management services for professional advisers and their clients.

"Professional advisers have to work very hard to give high net worth clients the high levels of service that they demand. Bank of Butterfield will match this effort thereby giving professional advisers a service they can rely on to deliver only the best to their most important clients."
