Award for FADESA

FADESA specialises in the development of large-scale first and second home residential complexes, combined with the ownership of hotels and golf courses linked mainly to its residential business. With this award, the Chamber recognises FADESA’s important contribution to the British property market in terms of sales.

The company took the decision in 1998 to market its products internationally. In that year it opened a sales office in London with the aim of promoting sales of second homes in Spain, mainly by the sea, to the British public, and started to offer a quality integrated property service to the British market.

Manuel Jove Capellán, Chairman of the FADESA Group, received the award from the Spanish Ambassador in London, Carlos Miranda, at a ceremony also attended by the Minister for Public Administration in the Spanish Government, Jordi Sevilla, and the President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in London, Miguel Ángel Gallardo, along with other dignitaries.

The company has created a large sales network in the United Kingdom, covering the whole country through partner agents, as well as an efficient direct sales team in charge of marketing FADESA’s properties in holiday areas of Spain and Morocco, and also in other European capitals such as Budapest. Second homes make up 30% of the Group’s sales, and it occupies a prominent position in this sector in the British market.
