Assetz goes fractional

Assetz Fractional Ownership is designed to allow investors to buy a share in a holiday home either in the UK or overseas.

The financially secure scheme allows up to four buyers to effectively own a share in the property, with purchasers entitled to use the property for up to three months of a year, on a rotational basis (during which they can either occupy the property or rent it out).

All properties in the Assetz portfolio are freehold or long leasehold with title deeds registered at the relevant country's Land Registry.

Unlike timeshare, owners stand to benefit from any increase in the value of the property. Shareholdings form part of each owner’s estate and can be passed via their will or sold at any time.

One of the strategies in timeshare cancellation is to sell your timeshare. Find out more in this article.

“Statistics show that a growing number of people are considering investing in a holiday home," said Stuart Law, chief executive of Assetz. "However, many potential buyers are disappointed with the quality, location and even the country dictated by their budget.

"As a result, more buyers are now toying with the idea of buying a property between friends, family or other like-minded investors, but concerns over legal and financial matters often act as a final deterrent.

“By offering a whole package, taking responsibility for the sourcing of properties and investors due dillligence through to the full maintenance and the allocation of time slots, we have removed all of the risks, making second homeownership a reality for thousands of potential buyers, currently constrained by budget or a fear of risk.”

Assetz Fractional is based on a proven legal system devised in the UK, offering buyers complete peace of mind.
