AMI appoints board member

Tony Jones has over 25 years experience within the financial services industry and has been managing director at Pink for 4 years; prior to this he was employed by a major lender. With access to several thousand intermediaries, this provides him with first hand knowledge of how changes can impact on the intermediary, their business and their customers.

Chris Cummings, director-general of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries commented:;

"The AMI Board is pleased to welcome Tony Jones as its latest member. Tony is a well known and well respected figure in the mortgage market and brings years of deep insight and business acumen with him. As the trade body for the intermediary mortgage profession, we must represent all shades of opinion and firms of all sizes, if we are to be as effective as members need us to be. Tony will of great assistance in helping us meet that requirement. I am delighted to be working with him."

Tony Jones, managing director at Pink Home Loans, says; “I am delighted to have been invited to join the AMI board as I believe the work it carries out on behalf of intermediaries is invaluable. As MD of Pink I speak to intermediaries on a daily basis and look forward to representing their views at AMI Board level.”
