Aldermore appoints two senior commercial lending managers

Pagett is responsible for managing a team of four lending managers in the Midlands and North. Owen manages a similar team of four lending managers with responsibility for London and the South. Both report to Rob Lankey, managing director, commercial mortgages, to whom they provide support, developing and implementing the bank’s commercial mortgage lending strategy.

Mark Pagett joined Aldermore in 2009 as a lending manager and has played a key role in the growth of Aldermore Commercial Mortgages. He has 25 years banking experience gained with the Royal Bank of Scotland, West Bromwich Building Society, Yorkshire Bank, Bank of Ireland and ING.

Peter Owen joined Aldermore in 2010 as a lending manager. He has previously worked for Lloyds TSB in a senior credit role and prior to that has held senior positions with HSBC and West Bromwich Building Society.

Rob Lankey, managing director, commercial mortgages at Aldermore, said: “Mark and Peter not only have many years’ commercial lending experience, but also have a detailed understanding of Aldermore’s commercial lending strategy, criteria and underwriting processes. I have no doubt they will be able to make an immediate impact in their new roles and I wish them every success for the future.”
