Aiib launch best practice initiative

Human resources can be difficult for many small and medium-sized firms as they often do not have specialist personnel to deal with the changing compliance issues. Consequently the Aiib has written a handbook which covers issues relating to personnel and record keeping, and can be tailored to the individual requirements of companies.

The handbook is available on floppy disk and also contains advice on data protection, company information and confidentiality matters relating to staff.

Dorothy Duncan, membership secretary of the Aiib, said: “The Handbook adds to the growing list of aids that the Association is developing to meet the increasing demands of business in the 21st century. It provides a ready-made personnel and record-keeping code to enable members to run an efficient personnel system.”
