AFHS and Total to build protection portal

Alexander House is a new national advisory business being launched by Nick Kelly and Jane Hodges and will offer a multi-channel proposition including virtual advisers, FTF, telephone and self-serve solutions for its customers.

Hodges said: “We chose Total Systems for several reasons. Firstly, they have a similar culture to us and want to see more protection sales to people who need it and recognise that there are a shrinking number of advisers prepared to deal with non-investment business.

“Secondly we know their software is designed for growth and we have exciting plans for the future.

“Thirdly, we appreciated their flexible and creative approach as we really want to deliver something new and exciting.”

Terence Bourne, managing director, said “Alexander House will be a breath of fresh air to the market.

“They are committed to using market leading technology to deliver trusted and transparent advice to their customers and we are proud to be working with them”

“The portal provides a new way to allow consumers and brokers to compare any combination of life, critical illness and income protection cover instantly from a panel of Insurers to ensure consumers can get personalised cover that is exactly right for their circumstances and their budget.

“Alexander House recognised this as a real fit with their objective in delivering the best advice for their customers.”
