Aberdeen IFA firm makes double appointment

The firm has hired Kevin Philip as a mortgage adviser and promoted Rebecca Shiel from administrator to office manager.

Philip is changing career after working in the oil and gas sector, as joined the firm soon after gaining mortgage adviser accreditation in three months. Shiel has worked for the company for four and a half years.

His extensive knowledge of the financial and business sector is extremely promising for the business’ future development.

“Rebecca’s appointment will ensure the business is focused going forward and will safe-guard and heighten the level of service we can provide to our clients. She is a fantastic member of the team and has been instrumental in building the business up over the past few years.”

The firm now has seven employees across its offices in Aberdeen, Ellon and Caithness.

Phil Anderson Financial Services, which specialises in mortgages, insurance, investments and pensions, was recently named the winner of the best customer service category in the Best of Business Awards 2015.
