Abbey lowers fixed rates

Available from Tuesday 18 September, the selection of two-year fixed rates deals it will be lowering will decrease by between 0.05 per cent and 0.21 per cent.

The revised products available exclusively through brokers are as follows:

• No Fee 2 yr fixed core at 6.29% with no booking fee.
• No Fee 2 yr fixed Homebuyer at 6.44% with no booking fee.
• No Fee 2 yr fixed Remortgage at 6.39% with no booking fee.
• 2 yr fixed core at 5.79% with a £999 booking fee.
• 2 yr fixed core 5.69% with a £1,499 booking fee.
• 2 yr fixed Homebuyer 5.99% with a £999 booking fee.
• 2 yr fixed Remortgage 5.89% with a £999 booking fee.
