5D Finance expands workforce

Sian Johns has been appointed to 5D Finance as their new marketing manager and will take up her role on 12 November.

Sian has moved from her previous position as product development manager at Kensington Mortgages and has nine years’ experience within senior marketing roles. She has worked for such companies as Kensingtons, AXA and IBM.

Kellie Pearson has been appointed as senior credit officer in the credit department. Kellie’s role will be to work closely with both Credit and Sales to roll out training to existing and new packagers on 5D’s new systems, processes and criteria. She joins from Commercial First where she worked as a risk assessor, and prior to that she held the role of underwriter in new business at Platform.

Martin Gibbs has been appointed as pipeline manager from Rooftop Mortgages where he worked as credit risk manager. Martin has 30 years experience in such companies as SPML, First National Mortgage Company, Future Mortgages and Preferred Mortgages, focusing in on the non-conforming market over the last 14 years of his career.

Janis Wilderspin has been appointed as the new senior lawyer, joining from Lovells were she was a commercial property lawyer. Janis is an in-house corporate and commercial property specialist, with over 20 years experience as a qualified lawyer. Previously she has held key positions within Ladbrokes Group, among others.

Completing the set of recent appointments, Paul Meaden has joined in the role of business development manager. Paul’s most recent position was business development manager at RBS and he has nine years experience in business development, and corporate and commercial finance.
