13th Broomstick Ball will be lucky for some

Precise Mortgages expect to travel upward of 1,500 miles in a Routemaster London bus over the final weeks of November, visiting brokers and delivering presentations on how brokers can maximise their business in the current climate.

En-route they will also ask attendees to contribute what they can to the fundraising effort. Around 500 brokers are expected to attend the roadshows.

Deirdre McManus, creator of the Broomstick Ball, said: “The mortgage market has raised in excess of £1m over the last 13 years for Cancer Research UK and we are looking forward to a really spooky night.”

Alan Cleary, managing director of Precise Mortgages, added: “Good luck to all those involved in organising the Broomstick Ball, the event has become one of the social highlights of the year and brings the industry together for an extremely good cause.

“We want to do everything we can to support the fund raising effort so we will donate £1 for every mile we travel in the bus.

“We’ll also do what we can to raise the profile of the event with the brokers we meet and ask them to contribute to the fund where possible.

“With around 500 intermediaries attending the roadshows we hope to be able to offer the Broomstick Ball a sizeable cheque.”

Precise Mortgages starts a nationwide series of roadshows from the 21st to 29th November promoting the benefits of consumers using mortgage intermediaries instead of high street banks.
