Specialist lender boosts sales team with new BDM and two promotions

Specialist lender Bluestone Mortgages has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Ben Curran as its new business development manager.

Curran is tasked to oversee and manage broker relationships in the South West of England and Wales. He joins BDSM after working as team coach for the sales team of Liberty Financial, an Australian specialist lender.

Bluestone further boosted its sales team with the promotion of Nik Sukara and Kelly Powel.

Mark Hollands, head of sales at Bluestone, commented on the appointments, saying the company is delighted to welcome Curran who will help improve the team in the South West of England and Wales.

Sukara is now field business development manager covering the North West and Yorkshire, while Powell is now field business development manager covering London.

Both are responsible for promoting and developing awareness of the company’s products and business proposition in their respective markets.

According to Hollands, Bluestone is pleased to promote Sukara and Powell, who have played “pivotal roles” in expanding the company’s proposition in their markets.

“This new appointment and promotions support our ultimate mission as a specialist lender to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to climb onto or up to the property ladder and make their homeownership dream come true,” Hollands said.
