Stonebridge Group launch DA proposition

Genus, which launched today, already has over 100 individual DA users.

Stonebridge Group, the mortgage and insurance network, has launched a proposition for directly authorised advisers.

Stonebridge Genus allows DAs to ‘pick and mix’ products and services they require from a menu with access to life and GI panels, choice of mortgage club, conveyancing, will writing and surveying.

Richard Adams, managing director of Stonebridge Group and Stonebridge Genus, said: “Given our pedigree and growth within the network sector, it has been obvious for some time that many DA advisers were looking for a proposition that also offered them the benefits of our relationships and the terms we have been able to secure.

“We have worked with a number of DA firms and advisers in recent times and it was felt that we could bring a new and flexible offering that allowed them to pick and choose from the array of products and services we have available.

“We all know that this current period, post-EU referendum, is uncertain and there will be many firms and individual advisers who value their independence but also want to feel part of something bigger than themselves which is able to offer them support, structure and opportunities they may not be able to secure on their own. At the heart of Genus is the access we can provide in areas such as protection, GI, conveyancing, and many others.

“On top of this we’re able to offer access to the highest spec technology, with our Revolution system, as well as branding and marketing support which would otherwise come with a large price tag. This is all about DAs spotting some of the gaps in their business and utilising Genus to fill them, while at the same time benefiting from our stability, protection and efficiencies. We are already working with 100 DAs within Genus and believe we have much to offer those who are looking for a true market partner.”

DAs can choose support services from Genus covering marketing, branding and brand design, business development, human resources and web templates.

By becoming Genus members, DAs can also secure access to Stonebridge’s technology including its point-of-sale system, Revolution, which has been designed to enhance all areas of their business from lead generation and sales progression through to business processing and customer retention.

DA members will not be charged subscription fees to join. Other benefits include paid-for membership to the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries and discounts on CeMAP training, qualification resources and learning tools.
