Ishaan Malhi steps down from Trussle

The founding chief executive of online mortgage broker Trussle, Ishaan Malhi (pictured), has stepped down from the board and leaves the business with immediate effect.

While on the lookout for a replacement chief executive, in the interim Trussle will be led by chairman Simon Williams and the senior leadership team.

Williams will be supported by co-founder Jonathan Galore who helped establish the brokerage in 2015 and remains closely involved in the business.

Williams said: “I would like to thank Ishaan both personally and on behalf of the board for his efforts over the past five years, building Trussle to where it istodayand playing an instrumental role in our mission of making mortgages fairer.

“We’ve had a momentous year at Trussle as we doubled down on our mission, increased mortgage submissions by 150%, and made some fantastic hires into our leadership team.

“We’re at a pivotal stage of Trussle’s journey and a new leader will be centralto build on Ishaan's visionduring our next phase of development and to capitalise on the immense opportunity that lies ahead of us.”
