FSE Midlands will take place on 1 November in Coventrywith debates on affordable housing, tackling care and capacity with housing wealth, technology and a conversation between two lenders on the specialist lending market.

It will also host over 50 exhibitors at the Ricoh Arena including headline sponsors such as the Equity Release Council, HSBC, the Later Life Academy, Lead Tech, Metro Bank, One Savings Bank, Paradigm Mortgage Services, Stonebridge Group, Tenet Group and Vida Homeloans.

James Prosser, director of Front Events – organisers of all Financial Services Expo events, said: “It may be the final FSE exhibition of the year but we believe we’ve plenty to offer all adviser delegates including a number of quality seminar sessions, covering the major advisory issues of the day, with a stellar line-up of seminar participants.

“Specialist lending, affordable housing and finance, later life lending and technology are all up for discussion and we’re confident that all delegates will have plenty to gain from attending FSE Midlands on the 1 November.

“Not only do we have a full scheduled seminar programme but FSE Midlands takes place in the same week as the Budget, with Chancellor Philip Hammond due to give his address at the Despatch Box on Monday 29October.”

Prosser added: “There are bound to be plenty of policies and measures coming out of the Budget which will impact on the advice sector and clients and we have a formidable line-up of speakers to discuss these and the potential consequences.

forward to having the community under one roof at the Ricoh Arena on 1 November.”

There will be a head to head conversation between two lenders whereby David Whittaker of Keystone Property Finance and Adrian Moloney of One Savings Bank discuss the current issues and opportunities in the specialist lending market.

Theaffordable housing/mortgage panel session will be chaired by the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries’ Robert Sinclair.

Panel participants include: Martin Reynolds (Simplybiz), Ian Andrew (Nationwide BS), Jonathan Stinton (Coventry BS), David Copland (TMA), and Dev Malle (Myhomemove).

Atackling care and capacity with housing wealthsessionwill be chaired by the Equity Release Council’s David Burrowes and focus on how housing wealth can play a vital role in the tangible care of our aging population.

Panel participants include: Jim Boyd (Equity Release Council), Claire Barker (Equilaw), Rakesh Sharma (Promedica24), Stuart Wilson (Later Life Academy), and Gary Webster (Equity Release Supermarket).

The seminar on technology will feature Caroline Ryder-Huf of Smartr365, the business management system for mortgage advisers,and will look at how innovative technologies are disrupting the status quo and how the industry is moving towards instant lending decisions.

All seminar sessions are CII-accredited and delegates can earn CPD hours.
