Belmont Green will recruit Leeds Building Society’s Louisa Sedgwick as director of sales in the summer.
Sedgwick has been head of intermediary distribution at Leeds since May 2015 after joining as head of corporate accounts in April 2014.
Guy Batchelor, sales and marketing director of Belmont Green, whom Sedgwick will report to, said: "Louisa has worked within the financial services industry for 25 years, 18 of which have been in the intermediary space.
“She is incredibly passionate about the industry and recognises the need to support intermediaries in developing their businesses going forward and offering alternative mortgage solutions to their customers. I’m delighted she is joining us.”
Sedgwick said: “The last two years at Leeds Building Society have been fantastic and I’ve received magnificent support to allow me to develop the team and grow the Society’s mortgage business, which I appreciate massively.
“I’m now looking forward to taking on my new role in the next few months.”
Leeds Building Society’s Martin Richardson, who is moving from director of business development to director of operations at the society, said Sedgwick has played a key role in building and strengthening the society.
He added: "She will leave us in great shape for the next phase of our investment and we wish her every success for the future.”
