Barclays to make rate changes

The 95% LTV products have no product fee. The 2-year fixed will be cut from 2.85% to 2.80%, the 5-year fixed 3.32% will be reduced to 3.27% and the 5-year fixed 3.63% will be decreased to 3.53%.

From tomorrowBarclays Mortgages will be making rate changes including reducing rates on existing 95% loan-to-value fixed rate mortgage products.

The 95% LTV products have no product fee. The 2-year fixed will be cut from 2.85% to 2.80%, the 5-year fixed 3.32% will be reduced to 3.27% and the 5-year fixed 3.63% will be decreased to 3.53%.

For purchases and remortgages the 2-year fixed 75% at LTV will be cut from 1.54% to 1.52%. It comes with a £999 product fee.

For purchases the 3.47% 2-year fixed at 95% LTV will be cut to 3.40%. It comes with a £1,000 cashback and no product fee.

For London Help to Buy purchases there are two 2-year fixes, both at 55% LTV. One comes with a £749 product fee and was reduced from 1.58% to 1.49% and the other, without a product fee, was cut from 1.81% to 1.75%.

In the residential, remortgage range, there’s two 2-year 90% LTV mortgages that will be seeing rate rises, one with a £999 product fee will increase from 1.78% to 1.87%, while the other with a £299 product fee will rise from 2.04% to 2.09%.

In the same product range a 75% LTV mortgage with a £999 product fee will increase from 1.90% to 1.96%.
