NatWest is set to increase rates across its buy-to-let (BTL) range by up to 70 basis points (bps) from 16 October.

The increase will apply to both purchase and remortgage products fixed for two and five years, including on customer deals and exclusives.

In addition, the lender is upping rates on products within its residential range.

Notable product increases within the lender’s core BTL range include the 75% loan-to-value (LTV) 2-year fixed rate remortgage offering, which has been increased from 3.07% to 3.77%. This deal has no product fee.

The 75% LTV 5-year fix for purchase only, within the lender’s core BTL range, has also been increased, from 2.18% to 2.88%, and this offering includes a £995 fee.

Looking to NatWest’s exclusive BTL range, the 75% LTV 2-year fix purchase offering has been upped from 2.34% to 3.04%, and the 75% LTV 5-year fix for remortgage only has been increased from 2.56% to 3.26%.

The two products listed above do not include product fees and offer £250 cashback.

NatWest highlighted that for existing customers there are no changes.
