Hodge hires business development director

Specialist mortgage lender Hodge has appointed Emma Graham as business development director.

Graham joins Hodge after three years as national account manager for Principality Building Society and brings with her more than two decades experience in financial services.

Matt Burton, Hodge’s managing director of mortgages, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Emma to the team.

“She brings with her such a wide range of experience – having held roles including business development manager, head of marketing and product development manager – Emma is someone that really knows how important it is to create products for customers.

“At a time when Hodge is looking to invest in new markets and improve upon the products we currently offer, Emma’s arrival is eagerly anticipated.”

Graham added: “Hodge is widely regarded as a pioneer in the later-life lending space, having launched the first equity release product in 1965 and more recently theretirementinterest-only just last year.

“It’s an innovator and its recent move into the portfolio buy-to-let space really shows this is a business striving to create much needed products for quite niche, and therefore often overlooked, markets.

“I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and working with the great team at Hodge.”

She starts in her new role on August 19.
